Had the high bid at $160 and I though that would certainly be enough.

This card has eluded me for way too long. G-D

Dude wait until the buyer leaves feed back and then send him a request for the card.
Maybe even over paying for it so you can just get for your collection

Re: Sniped, feeling like shat

I feel your pain... sorta. I havent been sniped... but it seems like the items ive been trying to buy lately have all gone for more than the snipe I set. I know the going rate so I set a reasonable snipe hoping to snag a few.. but I never win..bids are always too low to fire. A day later Ill search the same cards and see them going for $1-2 less than my snipe.

Why cant I get so lucky... of course I dont know the amount of the high bid on those items but my snipe would have atleast fired on those auctions.

Put your snipe in with 27 seconds left. Then put another in at 10 seconds. Always leave some time left to be able to put in a second try. I always want at least 2 cracks at it.

That is a nice card though, it happens to all of us.

Keep on goin though , you Have sweet Hank collection. I saw a nice documentary on him on netflicks the other night. Really was informative. With your heritage its understandable how he was a hero to your grandpa and family etc.
