George, it's been really cold here. 3 days of above 32 degrees since November, it's -6 degrees right now.

I had a friend pass away in a car accident on Wednesday, she lost control of her car and was hit by a snowplow. Bizarre for sure. Her boyfriend is one of my best friends for years, and also a fellow Journeyman Wireman. He was my apprentice when he started. Alex met him last spring when we got together to play golf on my last trip to Phoenix. I've had the wind taken from me all week. My friend has to pick up his girlfriend's mother and sister at the Iron Mountain airport tonight, and then to make the arrangements Monday. Services will be held in Reedsburg, WI, near Wisconsin Dells. This is just so sad, Kristine just started working at the Iron Mountain hospital as a registered dietitian.

Morning. Earlier than typical for me on a Sunday but I couldn't sleep after a dream I had.
Ralph, sorry about the loss

In my dream my girlfriend and I were at a family function sitting in a recliner, I leaned back and asked her to scratch my back real quick and turned around. As I did so my grandpa hurried over sitting in front of me . Knowing well that he wanted the same (I've done this since I can remember) I watched as he took off his flannel and white undershirt. I marveled at how his skin had changed a I started to scratch. I could hear him talking but make out no words. Comforted to hear again I leaned in closer to him. His salty but earthy tangy scent filled my senses. Unmistakably his I breathed it a few times and stopped. Realizing that this couldn't happen, I woke from the dream crying and subsequently woke my gf up because of it.
Sorry for the long read but I had to get it out. If I were to put that on FB my whole family would be emotional.
