Again, please read. I don't like that eBay threads are in the "Baseball" section. An "eBay" section would be best-but it's not the end of the world. That is why I don't like the eBay threads.

Then why post is in the baseball section. I don't see the problem, and yes i can read. Either take the 222.22 or wait until a better offer if it comes through. If everyone that was annoyed by an buyer from ebay posted a thread about it there would be nothing but ebay threads.

I don't know, I guess I don't mind the ebay threads. I just posted one today myself   Often times there is useful info about who to avoid on ebay and it's sometimes fun to read about how crazy people can get about this stuff. Sometimes advice is needed and it's nice that there are people here with knowledge that can help. They do get repetative though and most of the situations have been hashed out a million times before in different threads so I can see why someone would get sick of them. However, I just thought it was funny to state that you don't like the ebay threads and then start one yourself. I'm sure it's not how you meant it, but it came across to me as "I hate when others do this, but if I do it then everyone should pay attention."

Although others have already said it, in this particular situation, it's my opinion that the potential buyer unnecessarily jumped on your case and you reaacted more than maybe you should have, further escalating the situation. A little more tact on either end and the whole issue could have been avoided. I see nothing wrong with how you handled the listing. I'd want to get the most out of what I sell as well, but both your and his reaction back and forth made this what it was.

I don't appreciate being called a liar. It is that simple. So, you do you, I will do me.

Did you actually just write that? If someone "hurts your ego" by calling you a liar over an ebay message. You have some problems.

If I saw a card listed at $499 with the best offer option, I would never imagine that the seller would drop down to $200-$300 and I wouldn't even bother sending an offer. I'm not talking about the OP here as I didn't even look at the card but when I've looked for some cards and they've had high BIN with a best offer, they never seem willing to budge at all and if they do, it's only for a still unrealistic price. With that said, if I see an unrealistically high BIN with the best offer, I'm not even trying.
