Based on the condition of a lot of those cards, this is a HUGE pickup. I don't care what you paid because, once most of those are graded, you're going to do extremely well.

Those are incredible conditioned cards. If you don't mind sharing with us, how did the prior owner preserve these cards? Were they presented to you in toploaders?

I'm just curious how those 50's and 60's cards were so well preserved over a couple decades before the card hobby developed better supplies for improved preservation.

The majority of the collection were in 9-pocket pages and binders. The pages were crispy and yellow, so I've spent the last few days removing them. These binders obviously weren't touched in a while, as they were very dusty and complete with cobwebs. Some of the cards were in old toy boxes, which are pretty cool in their own right.

And those toy boxes you said some were stored in, they might be more than cool, they might be worth some bucks at a pawn shop or on eBay in their own right!
