In an franchise like the Giants, or Yankees, in which their top prospect is a catcher and are very concerned with their development, what is your though process? Do they hope to get traded?

Are you talking about other catchers in the minor league system or the catcher on the Major League level. Bengie knows he's moving on after his contract is over, but I don't see how being a catcher is any different than any other position in which a top prospect plays the same position you do.
Wxactly and was thinking about that exact playerJurgy25 said:ru4scuba said:darocker80 said:In an franchise like the Giants, or Yankees, in which their top prospect is a catcher and are very concerned with their development, what is your though process? Do they hope to get traded?

Yea I think he was talking about in the system and not necesarilly the ones in the majors already. So like Buster Posey with the Giants, how does Jackson Williams feel?

in the future, possible back up for Posey, or sandoval wil be the back up?ru4scuba said:lisu said:Jackson Williams will get a job as a backup catcher in the majors just because he is an excellent defensive catcher. He is an excellent defensive catcher and I hope he becomes more than just a backup somewhere.

Exactly... which is why I think he has the potential to be a starting catcher somewhere.
