I think if the Magic want to win they will have have to do it in game six.If the Cavs get even it will end with the Cavs winning in game 7.Really though who wants watch the lakers vs. magic?Almost nobody. We all want to see Lakers vs. Cavs AKA Kobe vs. Lebron.

nope lebron will never win a title. the cavs will win game 5 im sure, but magic in 6. even if the cavs come back to win in 7, the lakers are waiting to tear them apart. screw the "kobe/lebron" matchup...lebron has to be good enough to get there first.

I think you mean the rest of the Cavs need to be good enough? Because Lebron wasn't the league's MVP this year or anything right? ::facepalm::

Plus the Cavs already won game 5... That was two days ago, we are on game 6 tonight. That's beyond the point. If the Cavs win tonight they will win game 7. This is the Magic's game 7 IMO, devastation if they lose at home tonight is all I can say.

It's all up to Mo Williams and the surrounding players around LeBron. LeBron's going to score ~40 points. The other players have to step up like they did in game 5 if they want to win.
I want the Magic to win, though.

Only Magic fans. I want them to go on mainly because my player is on their team (Courtney Lee, who graduated from the college I now attend).

Otherwise, I would probably want Kobe/LeBron too. However, it's about the integrity of the game. If there's any chance the league would "rig" the series for that match-up, there's a big problem.

how many other so-called "mvp's" never made it to the promised land? off the top of my head without googling anything: karl malone, barkley and iverson. i think nowitzki won it a few years ago too and im sure im missing a few others. all players that could make it to the finals but MVP does not automatically equal championship no matter how good you are or your season was (or how good or bad your supporting cast is either).

i wouldnt have ever cared if MJ never won an MVP as long as those titles kept rolling in for chicago. im sorry but MJ was truly the type of player that made everyone around him better. i mean look at pippen and ho.grant to name two. they were integral pieces of the bulls rosters and then without MJ they were just...regular players...(pip especially)

so as i was saying, lebron can keep his mvp trophy, he will never hoist a championship one...now unless he goes to a stacked team like boston did last year, that was just sick with their three-headed monster...then there is no looking back and i will accept lebron getting his ring, but thats the only way i foresee it happening IMO.

...and besides, werent the cavs the "favorite" to win the championship? i mean they are supposedly "unstoppable" at home...lets see if they can pull a red sox v yankees down 3-1 series comeback.

Lebron can basically decide where he wants to go play in a year. I am pretty sure he will get his chance soon, if not this year.

You kinda just switched up your arguement there.. First you said "Lebron has to be good enough to get there first", in which I commented that not him, but his team needs to get "good enough". So first it was Lebron not being good enough, but now it's "I don't care if he was MVP, he can't do it by himself", which is basically what I said in the first place.

And now you by saying that MJ truly made his supporting cast better, (I don't disagree) that Lebron hasn't done the same for his Cavs? Come on man..

The blind hate of Lebron is completely unfounded and illogical. Don't bother arguing it because the people that are criticizing him in the way that's going on here lose much of their credibility.

His team can't win in Orlando, he can score 50 and they'll lose because his teammates flat out suck outside of Cleveland.

I agree. I thought Lebron was good enough to win the series, but I didn't realize just how bad his supporting cast is. Delonte West would be a great 6th man, but he's their starting guard. Mo Williams is a streaky shooter and not much else. Z is old and slow, Wallace is a shell of his former self, and Varejao can only flop. I originally thought if the Magic were going to win a game in the series it had to be game one. As it turns out they're going to win the series, but they had to steal home court in game one and did. That's the difference so far in the series.

I wish LeBron would go play in the European league just so I wouldn't have to hear about him. The over exposure takes away from his level of play for me. You can only eat so much candy until it makes you sick. Right now, I could care less if he ever gets a title. Save the "God's gift to basketball" talk until he wins something. Until then, Kobe and MJ are in a league above him.

You can score 100 points a game, but if you can't elevate your team to greatness with you...

The Magic aren't a nationally popular team, and I don't see why. You can see that with their explosiveness (mostly thanks to their 3 game) that hey are never out of a game. If you don't give 100% for the entire game, they'll get you. They've got a few solid young guys there too. Dwight Howard is one of the best centers in the game today, and one of the best defensive players.

Put any of MJ's Bulls teams or any of Kobe's Lakers teams up against Lebron's Cavs team this year and remove those three players and I bet both the Bulls and Lakers beat the Cavs 10 out of 10 times. Bulls still had Pippen, and the Lakers still had Shaq. Both were top 50 players all time.

I didn't mean to insult the Magic or thier fans if that is how I came across.I have nothing against Orlando and wouldn't mind watching Howard and company in the NBA finals.I would sure like to see Kobe and LeBron though. :)

Had the Cavs been in the west they wouldn't have won as many games as they did. They had the benefit of playing a weaker eastern division. But I have to admit that the east did get a whole lot better this year. The Cavs are one good player away from a title, but as far as this year goes GO LAKERS!
