Otherwise, I would probably want Kobe/LeBron too. However, it's about the integrity of the game. If there's any chance the league would "rig" the series for that match-up, there's a big problem.

I think if the Magic want to win they will have have to do it in game six.If the Cavs get even it will end with the Cavs winning in game 7.Really though who wants watch the lakers vs. magic?Almost nobody. We all want to see Lakers vs. Cavs AKA Kobe vs. Lebron.

I think you mean the rest of the Cavs need to be good enough? Because Lebron wasn't the league's MVP this year or anything right? ::facepalm::
how many other so-called "mvp's" never made it to the promised land? off the top of my head without googling anything: karl malone, barkley and iverson. i think nowitzki won it a few years ago too and im sure im missing a few others. all players that could make it to the finals but MVP does not automatically equal championship no matter how good you are or your season was (or how good or bad your supporting cast is either).
i wouldnt have ever cared if MJ never won an MVP as long as those titles kept rolling in for chicago. im sorry but MJ was truly the type of player that made everyone around him better. i mean look at pippen and ho.grant to name two. they were integral pieces of the bulls rosters and then without MJ they were just...regular players...(pip especially)
so as i was saying, lebron can keep his mvp trophy, he will never hoist a championship one...now unless he goes to a stacked team like boston did last year, that was just sick with their three-headed monster...then there is no looking back and i will accept lebron getting his ring, but thats the only way i foresee it happening IMO.
...and besides, werent the cavs the "favorite" to win the championship? i mean they are supposedly "unstoppable" at home...lets see if they can pull a red sox v yankees down 3-1 series comeback.
Lebron can basically decide where he wants to go play in a year. I am pretty sure he will get his chance soon, if not this year.

You kinda just switched up your arguement there.. First you said "Lebron has to be good enough to get there first", in which I commented that not him, but his team needs to get "good enough". So first it was Lebron not being good enough, but now it's "I don't care if he was MVP, he can't do it by himself", which is basically what I said in the first place.
And now you by saying that MJ truly made his supporting cast better, (I don't disagree) that Lebron hasn't done the same for his Cavs? Come on man..

...and no lebron hasnt done the same for the cavs, otherwise ilgauskas would have had more than 2 points today...and west and williams only score cuz lebron gets double teamed and someone needs to get passed to thats open.
ahhh it doesnt matter cuz mr. mvp himself lasted a whole 45 minutes and went a whole 8 for 20 which equals bye bye cleveland. so no need to really argue, im not even going to bother looking at this thread anymore. i just wanted to come back and give a good  to all the lebron fans.
go magic! (lakers in 5 or 6)

I've lived in Russellville, KY (just west of WKU) my entire life.

People said that about the Cavs series so I doubt that will happen, but I expect the Lakers to win though, but if the Magic can play their best and keep DH12 out of foul trouble they'll have a real chance since they can win on the road.brokenliz1 said:bye bye LeBron. That should be a headline tomorrow. He left the arena without talking to anybody.Ruined the Finals for me.Lakers in 4.
Edit-I thought the Lakers would win anyway but I really wanted to see a Kobe/LeBron final. No disrespect to the Magic but IMO the Lakers dominate them.

For someone that has been this active posting about the Magic (or just your hate for Lebron), how do you not know that the Lakers had already won the series against the Nuggets?
I copied this off another discussion I was having after the Magic's game 4. It all still holds true, except that I didn't think to edit the Lakers/Nugget line.Tomlinson21RB said:Card Magnet said:4. There are going to be matchup problems for the Lakers/Nuggets to play good D.

Invest4thefuture said:Honesty, there's a bit too much hype around Orlando now and all of their fans are getting too cocky. Orlando is a good team, yes, but already thinking about a championship? The Lakers match up way better than Cleveland did... it's gonna be a tough series for the Magic.
