Nothing that Goo Gone wouldn't fix.

But wouldn't that just F'up the surface?
It shouldn't.

Obviously I would try it on a junk card first, but the refractor laminate should provide a solid enough surface to mess around with. You can buff out a lot on most chrome cards.

When you say Buff out, what do you use?

I was actually surprised to see alcohol not take 100% of an auto off of a chrome card.

I'd say it is 99% gone, but if you get it in the right ligt you can see the faintest outline of the original auto.

Value aside, I'd rather have an IP auto RC in my PC. Ideally, there wouldn't be a facsimile auto on it, but that's what Bowman/Draft has been doing so as an IP Auto RC collector, I'd have to deal with that slight detraction.

Although, admittedly if it were me, I would have sold the parallel chrome RC to buy other RCs to get signed, and then just had a base RC signed. That said, I do like to get refractor RCs signed when I'm lucky enough to pull one of someone who'll sign it in person (the refractors look a lot better than base chromes).

The only thing that may help this guy, is the fact Hellickson has no auto cards out yet (other than minor league) So he might sell it for 200-250...Still what a moron

I had this gold ref signed IP. I'm not big into prospecting and it looks cool as a PC item. It was also funny because he was like "cool, I've never seen one of my cards that are THIS shiny!"

I think a combo of nail polish and a white eraser should remove most of the ink, though there might be some residue left.

Obviously just having the card signed is a big ::facepalm::, but Hellickson's autograph doesn't look the best either, so the card looks like a real eyesore.
