For those interested, the first (and I believe only shop in the US) shop to have this product in hands had a case breaking party tonight and some of the cards are on eBay right now.

The rest of the country should be getting boxes Tuesday or Wednesday...and these auctions will be closed by then.

very nice, thanks. That Fife auto looks sick, glad to see he powered his way to make the auto fit! Also like that Weeks and Skipworth signed. Wonder how many did theirs like that.

As a prospect set, I don't like this product. Not bad looking cards for letter autos, but letter autos for prospects?

Eh, don't like the idea.

I understand the sellers thinking that the first one's one the market will go for the most, however this product is flying under the radar of a lot of people. Plus, those that are expecting this product...are expecting it to release the day after these auctions end.

Regardless, I figured this board should know.

Are these just random colors for the letters?

Do all players sign on all colors?? So will Posey have a White letter with Red Jersey? Red White and Blue?

Still think team associated colors would have been better.... if you are going to do it. Do it right.

I personally feel like letter autos are a collector's card more than they are a prospector's card. Maybe down the road when these guys are playing in the big leagues, these will be really popular with collectors But since this is a prospect product, it seems that it is aimed toward prospectors rather than collectors (obviously). And as a prospector, I'd personally rather have a regular auto card (i.e., a BC Auto or even an auto from Razor Signature Series) than a manufactured auto'd "W" card of Kyle Skippworth, for example.

So what are the chase cards? I've never really followed letterman products.

For me it's not the entire idea that I don't like, but I don't like the manufactured aspect (never have, I thought manufactured UD Chronology Letter Men Patch Auto's were....UGH)! :|

Without team associated colors.... will a Giants fan want a Buster Posey Blue Jersey/White Letter?

I know if I was buying a Cubs player.... Id pass by a Red Jersey/White Letter.... or the Brown I saw that Brian posted.

If they were game used, it would be a completely different story. But I don't think there is any way they could get anywhere near enough jerseys of each player to turn it into a complete product of the same format that this is setup in.
