Dude hit bottom and just keeps digging ::facepalm::

Says he feels like a prisoner

He basically asserts that thye Cubs fans were racially motivated in their hatered to him. I'm sure it had nothign to do with him being a human money hole (amongst other --holes) and sucking so bad and being such a ******** that Hendry had to suspend him for conduct detrimental to the team.

There are a few guys that, when they play the race card, I just roll my eyes. Bonds blaming his "frosty" relationship with the media on race and Sheffield blaming his "unwelcomed" feelings early in Milwaukee on race are the 2 other times in the history of baseball where I rolled my eyes so hard it hurt.

Look, I may call all you Cubs fans ***** and chumps, but i know you're not racist...

Biggest ****** in baseball. Good luck Seattle.

Matt,
I'm not sticking up for him but I think Milwaukee metro is a fairly racially divided area. It's getting better since I moved he but it's pretty divided.

Oh, I know that. But it's not at the ballpark. This town was the place where Hank Aaron hit his final HR. Sheffield hated that he got drafted by the Brewers, played average, and then tried to force his way out by saying the organization was racist. But he was the only one. Someone ask Pat Listach, Dave Parker or Juan Nieves if the place was racist.

But I agree with YOUR assesment of Milwaukee, just not Sheff's...

after reading the article I have to believe that its not all in Bradley's imagination.

I'm sure there was some hostility towards him there.

But the dude also seems to have some thin skin and need to rise above that crap

He not only hated getting drafted by the Brewers but admitted that he booted ground balls and played below his ability just so he could get outta town!! That is why I have never had any respect for him.

Bradley's a punk

Hopefully he charges the mound and gets a whoopin!

Maybe that'll shut him up

I still can't believe the Mariners got Milton Bradley for Carlos Silva! What a great deal if you are an M's fan.

Cubs GM: "What would you give me for the biggest ****** in baseball?"
M's GM: "How bout a huge, heaping sack of dung?"
Cubs GM: "FTW!"

IMHO, Cubs fans give Milton such a hard time but seem to overlook the awfulness that was the 2009 edition of Alfonso Soriano. Sure, Milton creates his own attention on himself but he wasn't the team's biggest underachiever.

According to fangraphs, 2009 Bradley > 2009 Soriano...

The "It was Chicago, not me" explanation for his poor performance cracks me up.

If Chicago's such a bad, kill-my-career type of place why'd you go there?

Ever consider your own attitude and poor play was the cause for the negativity?

I truly believe Milton Bradley will not only be the missing catalyst needed to spark the M's to the top, but he will also be a settling influence in the clubhouse. Pennant in 2010! YES!!!

One question: Is it also true that unicorn poo has glitter in it, or am I being naive?

the fans werent being racist they dont tolerate ignorance.

So the hate mail and the racial slurs/comments were just fans showing their intolerance of his ignorance? Come on.

Are most fans racist? IMO, absolutely not. Are there some racist fans? You better believe it.

I'm not trying to be a Bradley apologist, but let's be realistic. I'm sure not all of what he experienced was a figment of his imagination.

Hank Aaron received daily death threats while he was playing and didnt do any of the stupid things or act or say what Bradley has.

While it may have happened, Bradley did nothing to but dig his own grave by continually being an idiot
