Right now I'm in Florida and am going to go to some of the Spring Training practices. I can't find anything that shows when they practice. Does anyone know when to go? Thanks!

Call the stadiums and see when they open - the players should be practicing by then. That seems to be how it is in the few parks I've gone to in AZ.

Where at?. Tampa, st Pete, clearwater? Most teams, I have seen practice somewhere else. Like others have said, Call the team and ask where they're located. Not sure what the policy for gaining access is though, I was given tours of a few. But was invited by the teams back in the day, for a reason.

For what it's worth, I thought the practices the couple weeks BEFORE games start are way better than the games themselves. Players milling around, excited to be back, walking between ball fields, etc. The practices last for much longer than the games, and you can sit in on whatever you want. Veterans working with young guys, coaches barking at players about misc stuff, everything. It really puts the players in a much different light!

I'll probably go to the Astros (tomorrow), Braves, Red Sox, and I'm not sure who else. OK, it sounds like I should call the teams. Thanks!

The Yankees training and rehab facility is just a mile or so from where they play.

I'm not sure if they practice there or at the stadium.

THe GCL Yankees play at the training facility.

There is really nothing protecting you from getting to the players so I would guess that they practice at the Stadium and the surrounding fields.
