I am looking to attend Spring Training this upcoming year, but cant make it is March, as my sping break is February 19th to the 27th. What is it like down in Florida for spring training then? For Majors and Minor league stuff. I want to see Harper in Nationals camp at least once specifically.

Any help is appreciated,
Thanks

Can you be a little more specific other than "what is it like"?

Pitchers and catchers have reported by then, but typically, stadiums aren't open to the public at that point for workouts.

There is no way to watch the workouts???? Arent they on the practice fields, and not the stadiums? I was wondering for IP auto purposes.

I prefer to go the week or so before the games actually begin. Every morning the team breaks out into small squads on different fields and the drill various skills. After so long they blow a horn and the squad picks up and moves to another are to work on something else. It's cool because the guys are excited to be back, less resistant to fans, and will chat you up. It's also usually less crowded so the experience is better than just another game from the seats.

That's my experience anyway...
