I appreciate the look and the kind words. To answer all of the questions at once: it is a little bit of all. I make some pieces "just because", and I actually still own several of them. A majority of the sportscard pieces were commissions that were already sold before they were even made. I also have auctioned a couple of pieces off ("Broadway Joe" and "Fight Back"), and proceeds from those auctions went to help victims of tornadoes and Parkinson's Disease, respectively.

As for the price, it is set by the amount of detail that each piece has. I've sold some of the baseball card pieces for as low as @$450 shipped (mostly when I first started), all the way up to around $900 + shipping. A piece like the Musial (which I created without selling in mind - but almost everything is always for sale ) would run close to that $900 price.

Like almost everyone else that sells their own art - pricing is always the hardest thing. Some of the pieces have been published; I've also had pieces win awards. Those, naturally, hold a special place with me, and it would take a little more to pry them away.
