Another idiotic comment McCarver made was when a graphic came on screen showing Napoli is 3-3 lifetime against Carpenter.
McCarver said, "That's when Carpenter was with the Blue Jays and Napoli was on the Angels."
Obviously wrong, since Carpenter hasn't been with Toronto since 2002 and Napoli started in 2006.
I guess McCarver hasn't heard of Interleague games (Cardinals and Angels played in 2010).

McCarver always broadcasts like he's talking just to people who have never watched baseball before. That is such a small part of the audience, it can make real baseball fans--the ones who watch every inning of the World Series no matter who is in it--a little ...crazy.
