I got shut out on Stanton but got both Freese and Strasburg. Kind of shocking wasn't completely shut out since I didn't get a chance to order till almost an hour after ordering went live.

I was told by numerous folks that since I did not get my order in until the evening on the day they went on sale that I would not get one. They tell me it is first come first serve and that the eTopps website even states that (which I found where it does in fact state that). However, I was still allocated a Strasburg and a Freese but got shutout on Stanton.
I still believe there is some sort of random way they allocate.

I've had my etopps account since they started around 2000 or 2001. I haven't bought anything between 2003-2009... however I started buying almost everything this season and I haven't gotten shut out of any single card I've ordered.

I've had an eTopps account since I think about 2001, and I got 1 of 2 despite ordering about 2 hours after the release...I did get shut out on Stanton though (I only requested 1).

Using that logic, why would you ever sell it?

Turning $8 into $60 in 24 hours is almost unheard of.
