Morning guys. Not much good yet. I've managed to get puked on TWICE, by a sick 3 yr old, since 4 am. My one day to sleep on a bit, and sickness has me up at regularly scheduled time. Ugh.

Will be venturing out to the virtual show. Have a "table" but nothing major on it. Going to try to liquidate some low end prospects.

Edit to note- After the boy got in bed with us, he managed to puke in my slippers. They are now on the PUP list and replacement level slippers will be acquired.

Morning guys. Read Grandma's obit. Didn't realize she was in the Navy. Grandpa was in WWII and Saving Private Ryan pretty much traced his trek thru France until about halfway thru movie. Anyway, 21 grandkids, we all got a shell casing from his 21 Gun Salute. So we'll all get one from Grandma's too. Not sure why I received it, but also have great grandpa's pocket watch he got when he retired. So I'll wear that while being pall bearer. Was also pall bearer for Grandpa. So I think it's cool.

On a similar note. Layover in Chicago last night. Get to to the gate and the attendant was giving me a hard time about Ohio State hat and hoodie. When we start boarding, he says I need to stand aside for a few minutes. After everyone else boards, myself and a few pilots/soldier who are catching a ride home, all got bumped to first class. Makes me think Grandma was smiling then and pulled some strings.

Sorry to hear of your loss. The life your grandparents led must've been extraordinary, having been part of the greatest generation. We could learn alot from them if we'd just listen.

I heard Grandpa talk about the war one time. Said he was a scout and he was close enough to Germans that he could have spit on them (not derogatory, Jill ist how close he was) but it would have given up his position. Was in a foxhole with 2 others, soldier on left was shot, then one on right. He was unharmed. Only stories I heard from him. They were both great. Grandma only lived in one house her whole life. Born in and raised in only 1.
