Don't stab the conductors into the slots on the receptacles. You'll be sorry!!!!!
No plans on doing anything other than attaching the wires.
I hate this POS HTC calls a smartphone!!!
In case you haven't done so already, checking out the Joe Schmo Show (on Spike TV) should be worth your time. It's a fake reality show where all involved but one guy are 'in' on it. They did a very good job with two prior versions about 10 years ago (Kristen Wiig got her career going on the first) and I have high hopes for this version.

If it's such a great site, they should be able to generate more than enough revenue without charging fees.

Only put the hot conductor, neutral conductor, and if using romex, attach the ground wire. No splicing on the device!!!!!!!!
What issues does stabbing cause? Every receptacle I switched out today, was stabbed. Was a massive PITA!
Stabbing the wires is not a solid connection. It creates heat, which could cause problems such as burning the outlet out. You could also lose the common, and you could possibly have a back feed also.
I once took a job in the Chicago area in which the contractor stabbed all the devices in the model of a condo project. The inspector red tagged the job, I had to go back and re-wire all the devices that were stabbed by shop regular's. It's just one of my pet peeves, I also did service work, and usually this was the problem I encountered when looking for short circuits, or no power.
And as you stated, it was a massive PITA. It's a lot easier to stab than wrap the wire around the screw, but this takes longer. Contractor's don't give a sh!t after the home warranty runs out after a year, just get it done as fast as you can. It's a horsesh!t installation. Quantity over quality.
Steve, in 30+ years in the electrical trade, I have seen some really crazy installations, mostly done by fly-by-nighters that think they are electricians because they can twist two wires together, and by mostly by non-union tradesmen that didn't have enough training or experience.
