Early wake up for me this morning. Carbon monoxide alarm decided to use its last bit of battery power to chirp that it is losing battery power - at 630 this morning.

Saw a Lamborghini at starbucks this morning, so that was pretty cool.

Then my first customer asks about a car cover, and doesnt know what model mazda he has. And asks me to tell him. "The common one, they are all over". How do you not know what car you have? Friggin people. Lemme just say, if any of my fellow MTers go into a parts store, please know what car you have ahead of time. Its easier on us who work there, and it doesnt make you look like a dipwad.

Good morning guys. I hope everyone has a great day.

Life has been busy, for the most part. I have been able to sneak in some GTAV time here and there. Definitely looking forward to watching football today.

I cant wait to get my hands on a copy. My birthday is coming up in a month, so i'm crossing fingers.

Good Morning Gents! I hope the weekend has been treating everyone well so far. Cleaning up my brewing equipment today and will get started on a new red amber ale I've been wanting to brew. I chatted quite a bit with the guy at the home brewing store and he gave me some great pointers on how to flavor beer as well. I will be using this batch to try out a pumpkin red ale. I've discovered a new favorite fall beer which is called Elysian Nightowl. If you enjoy beer for the flavor I highly recommend this one to try if you can find it :)

Sounds great ! I absolutely love the sam Adams octoberfest and the Alaskan winter ale is a favorite. The spruce tips set it off

This was waiting for me when I got home today. Bought it used in like new condition on Amazon. Will play with it tonight after my nieces birthday party. I'm guessing when you scan a card you take it out of the top loader and penny sleeve?

I have had best results scanning with the cover open, also in a not so bright room. Out of the holders and sleeves.

I do a preview, then crop around the card then scan, then crop again when final scan is complete. This way, you don't have that huge picture with a little card in it. Every scan i do is previewed, cropped, scanned, then cropped again. Your native software from your scanner is your friend in this respect, although I now use photoshop when scanning in.

Grandpas improving but still questionable. If all tests come out positive he'll be flying to the university of Washington.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes and prayers. Keeping my fingers crossed for the better.
On a card note, I keep finding new sets or possibly a vintage set that I'd like to start to pursue but remaining focused on the other three I have my head wrapped around is challenging enough. Anyone else have this problem?

Michael, it's taken me several years to get my focus down, I have been completing sets and am down to only one and my player collection. I eat to start another set at times, but haven't decided on one yet and I bed the fund for the 1953 set!

Hey fellas. Been away for a bit. Trying to re-prioritize myself. Hope everyone has been well.

Haven't been picking much up lately, but did snag this.

I continuously talk myself in/out of going for either a 1960 Topps set (year I was born) or a 2005 Donruss Signature Hall of Fame themed set. Both sets would take me years to complete but the search is half the fun!

Watching Seahawks game zac miller scored an easy touchdown runs over to the stands and hands the ball to a woman fan who then is so amazed and excited... THAT is what sports is beyond the game .. Love it
