I just didn't understand it.

Guy plays baseball, guy gets shot, guy stops playing baseball, guy starts playing baseball again, guy finds out he needs to stop playing baseball, guy plays baseball anyway.

EDIT: I'd probably say The Stratton Story if I was able to see the ending, which I will do eventually.

I will admit, I do hate movies in general, but I went into this one with an open mind because it was baseball related.

I read reviews, watched trailers, read film descriptions, heck I even found a written debate between a person who likes, and dislikes the movie. None of which I had to do for this project, and very little I read has done anything for me.

The actual acting was good, the score was epic, and the effects were pretty sweet. I do agree, by itself, the home run scene was probably the coolest thing I've ever seen in a sports movie.

In closing, I don't like sappy, feel-good movies (in general).
