I know it's not a knock your socks off offer, but I'll pay $23.00 delivered for these. It sounds aweful to me too, but it's in line with completed sales on ebay and I'm basing on a higher more recent sale on Dominguez given his stuff has risen recently. The rest of it has been stagnent for some time, if not decreasing a bit (ala revere, montgomery)

No thanks, usually dont take offers when people preface it by saying "Sounds awful to me too", or take almost 1/3 of my asking price.

I hear you but I had to base my offer on some market value, which admittedly I thought would be higher when I first looked at your cards and what I wanted from your list. market value and asking price are often very different prices.

Understandable, thats why I said or make an offer. But no one would take an offer that is that low. Especially when you are cherry picking prices, and quote ebay but ignore the fact that they charge 2-4$ in shipping, that needs to be factored in as well.

Last 4 Beckhams: 4,5, 10, 15 so its automatically a 4$ card?

Not a fair offer so sorry, would rather keep them then deal them at 45% off. I dont need the money that bad

I like to factor shipping in by NOT giving the 10% discount because I'm not paying fees. Not that I pay 10% in fees, but every buyer assumes that.

No, it's not automatically a $4 card, but it tells me that it can be had for $4.00 and when the buyer (in the case, me) isn't in a rush and doesn't have to have it, he will see no reason to pay more for a card than he has to because being patient means not having to overpay to aquire an item and leaves me with that much more cash to acquire other items I want to get.

It's also not 45% off. It's market value that you're being offered. It's only 45% off in your mind because of your desire to sell them at a certain price. Thus, it comes across as an unfair offer, when it's actually right in line with realistic sales.

I'm sorry - I didn't mean to hijack your post with justification of an offer. No doubt it's the low end price I'd expect to pay based on current market. I just wanted to be clear about the logic of where my prices came from and why I stated I was surprised how low the price was - because initially when I look at the cards in your list, I thought they were going to be selling for more.

Of course, I understand your perspective as well. And certainly, the bottom line here is that you don't need the money that bad, so I'm not going to be able to pry these away from ya... and that's cool.
