SWEET PSA Authentication Mail Day! - HOFrs etc

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for PSA to have a non-member authentication special, and finally they did. $10 a pop to get these authenticated. I am very excited, I got all of these very cheap and 20 of the 21 from the same seller. I am relieved they were all real and very excited to have them all slabbed. They will look great next to my Mantle, Ted Williams and Hank Aaron.

***I have never understood why these are so cheap. Upper deck takes this same card, makes a cut out of it, and it sells for three times the price ::facepalm::

1st - Beautiful group you have there, congrats

2nd - To answer the above, a vast group of collectors are very very stupid, and with that, they would rather pay 3 times the price for 1/3 of that index card, all in the name of "I only collect baseball cards" :benson: ::facepalm::

I'm with you, but you must realize that this is an argument against baseball cards in general. I mean, I can get you a photo of Albert Pujols from 2001. I can write a nice bio and his minor league stats on the back. Why do people pay so much for one with "Bowman" on it?

You're right it is silly that a cut out piece of that would sell for more just because it is a UD Cut.
