Sandy Koufax -- Favorite golfer and one of my favorite baseball players. He shows up at the Cromwell Celebrity Pro-AM and is a great guy to chat with. He signs for A LOT of people as long as they are respectful of each other and the golfers.

The last time I saw him there he, the crowd of 100+ was being rude and shoving each other and pushing the kids around, being loud and swearing...Finally Koufax told everybody that he wasnt signing ANYTHING FOR ANYBODY - "If you cant respect each other, than I cannot respect you. I dont sign autographs for people I dont respect." Within in two holes it was quiet and a line formed for autographs for the rest of the course. --- And the man drives the ball like a machine, not bad for a 76 year old man.

I always liked Fred Couples. Heck of a good golfer and my dad has stories from when he worked the GGO in Greensboro and was the police escort for Fred and his wife. The guy exudes class.
