He's a local Hawaii kid who's kind of a hero here on the Islands.
He qualified for the 2006 U.S. open as an amateur at age 15, the youngest golfer ever to do so.
The next year at age 16, he made the cut at the PGA Sony Open in Hawaii, to become the second youngest to make the cut.
What's even more amazing, he was born three months premature at under two pounds, and doctors gave him a 50-50 chance of survival.
He's only 5' 1" now and beat all the odds to become a local golf star.
