Strange deal, thought he was considered pretty high. I think a team like Indy should draft him or a lower QB, give him a few years to sit and learn behind Peyton. I bet he gets drafted

sitting and learning from a great QB has it's benefits.... look what happened to Matt Cassel......I'm sure he'll get drafted by a team that will try and develop him into a great QB.....he's got the potential IMO.
Not to mention Aaron Rodgers. He shows a little from sitting behind Favre.

Tony Romo is a little better because he sat behind Vinny Testaverde and Drew Bledsoe. Say what you want about Vinny or Drew, but they know the game and I've always heard coaches compliment them (especially Vinny) about their knowledge of the game and mentor skills. Of course though, Tony Romo still has a way to come.

Living in Indy, I've seen this kid play and he is a good quarterback. He has an awkward grip on the ball and is smaller than most highly sought after QB's. I think that scares off teams but, it shouldn't. Look at Doug Flutie. He wasn't even 6' and teams didn't want him. He played in the CFL and dominated the game there. When he was given a chance in the NFL, he was an above average quarterback.

Maybe because he wasn't a member here yet when the last post in the thread was made and he wanted to give his opinion? Why do you care if he bumps an old thread, are you going to lose sleep over it? ::facepalm::

Dalton aka George A Romero is making the football thread a Night of the Living Dead...Threads.

Rather than make a new post, why not use an old one if you have something new to add? Works for me.
