The color tek versions used to sell for a lot more than they currently do, most of the Andruw's used to sell for $10-15 a piece up until a few years ago. So with that said, I am sure there must be enough of an AROD following to still command decent prices for those. Of course it could be a tek set collector too?

Color versions are rare?

Continually checking the new listings on COMC is occasionally a great use of my time:

Not sure I would say rare, but definately less quantity than the patterns 1-15. Patterns 16-20 are are all colors and have a 5 x multiplier per beckett. Not that the multiplier means much, but from what I have seen, they show up way less often. The gold versions of these are very cool looking. Fandruw25 has a few.

I think the veteran colors were inserted about 2 per box so they are pretty tough to find. (the #'d prospects weren't hard to get however -- all 20 of each of the prospect cards were printed in the same quantities).

Good stuff... also, welcome to the site!

For the LONGEST time I just had one version of each card from both 1998 and 1999 tek before I wanted to really step the player collection up and have been going after each pattern every since... let's just say it's a crazy crazy crazy game of hide and seek lol

Good luck with the Biggio collection, you shouldn't have any issues getting one copy of each card for your own PC

Thanks guys

I guess for now, I will be going after just one...Will probably change in the near future lol

Eventually you'll change... take your time... no rush lol... Do you use beckett to track cards you have/need? They recently, in the last year or two, started recognizing the different patterns as different cards; part why I started doing it lol.
