Is that suspension worthy? I didn't watch it 12 times to see if it worse than 2 minute charging penalty.

I don't think it is suspension worthy.

Seabrook got up right away and didn't have to go to the locker room to have a concussion test.

Frankly no. But then again, I didn't think the hit on Eberle he was suspended for was suspension worthy either. In Eberle's case, what's the one thing you're always told? Keep your head up...Eberle's wasn't.

This one, I'm not sure how shoulder to chest can be considered "blind-side."

I totally get wanting to protect the players, but I'm sorry, at some point it's the player getting hits responsibility. Seabrook was skating one way with his head turned the other.

Now I'm also not sure why they didn't make Seabrook immediately go the locker room, but instead allowed him to do his 15-minutes during the intermission...

If it was Avery or Cookie. The NHL lynch mob/ pink hat media would be out wanting 10-15 games for that hit. He should get nothing. But will probably get 2 games in the pussifyed NHL.

I texted my buddy and said that if it was Cooke he would have been thrown out of the game and suspended for next season.

Just saw that Torres won't be suspended or fined. Surprised that the NHL didn't even fine him. Not that I think the hit was that bad, just surprised they weren't consistent with other similar situations.

I hope Torres enjoys his upcoming suspension.

Sharpie with the Power Play goal to tie it up at 2-2

Some news on the Flyers/Sabres game.

Flyers: Sergei Bobrovsky will be on the bench tonight ( :x )after giving up 3 goals on 10 shots in the first period of Saturday's 5-4 win. Brian Boucher will be starting after giving up 1 goal on 22 shots in relief.

Andreas Nodl is out with an upper body injury and will be replaced in the lineup by Nikolai Zherdev who has been a healthy scratch in the first 2 games of this series. :?

Chris Pronger is still out with a hand injury. He is day-to-day but there is no other indication of when he'll return. :x

Sabres: Shaone Morrisonn is questionable with an upper body injury.

After Terry Pegula took over as team owner on February 22nd, the Sabres are 16-4-4 and have not lost back to back games.

Seguin is supposed to be healthy scratch again tonight. What a joke. This team needs a spark and Ryder, Paille ect aren't gonna do it. Thomas is supposed to start in net. He has been shaky, I would have went with Rask tonight.

Big Z is in tonight and getting hammered for sitting out game 2 by media. He needs to go out and have a huge game or Z will become very hated in Boston with this playoff collapse.

any word on Engellend getting a jersey tonight?

So now the word around the proverbial campfire is that Leighton will be backing up Boucher tonight and Bobrovsky is a scratch (not confirmed).

If this is true, then what was the point of not only naming Bobrovsky the starting goalie in the playoffs, but giving him as much ice time as he's gotten? I like Leighton, but WTF??? :benson:

I don't blame PL, those guys got it done last year.

I wish Claude had a quick hook and put Tukka in tonight. Sometimes teams just get better energy and play better in front of different goalies.

Julien's job is on the line tonight, and he changes nothing about a team that's been outplayed at home for two games.
Get him out of here.

Coach Bylsma said the lineup will be announced at game time.

Sidney Crosby did not practice for the 2nd straight day as per doctor's orders. he is in Tampa Bay with the team and is still lifting and riding the bike but he hasn't skated since Friday morning. I'm not sure what to make of this news. his status hasn't changed and he is still allowed to workout but the Pens say he hasn't been cleared for contact.

An abosolute rocket from Carter on the PP to make it 1-0.

Dump-in deflected off a Sabre right to Carter who nailed into the far-side...
