Looks like it's time for Luongo's yearly meltdown. I just still wish it would have been against the Hawks.

He went off about hating the team but as for the twins he called them creepy because they know were each other will be but like he said you have to respect them. But it is obvious he HATES the Canucks. :D Which you gotta love.[/quote:1tb069pr]
How do you not hate the Canucks? They play dirty and only step up when there is a ref in the way ala Kesler and Chara, Kesler and Thornton, Lappy and Clowe and countless other times. Plus they have one of the most annoying/whiny fanbases in the NHL who think they are better than everything and deserve all the calls and that the other team shouldn't get a powerplay on a blatant call. It is quite easy to hate the Canucks.[/quote:1tb069pr]

Oh I know it's easy to hate us, I hate half our fans, but players like Kes and Burr are players you love on your team but hate when they are on other teams.

Oh and we are better than everything and deserve all the calls and giving other teams powerplays, it's obvious that the NHL is out to get us. :P[/quote:1tb069pr]

Oh, I've said since the Olympic that I wish the Bruins had Kesler. Burrows? No, he's a bitch.

It's easy to dislike some fans too... Seriously sipping Red Wine at a Stanley Cup game?

Did hear this one today:

What time is it in Vancouver? 12 past Luongo!

It's pretty funny how Boston fans start foaming at the mouth when something doesn't go their way and how they overreact at the slightest jab. Yeah, I guess that the Canucks are the only "dirty and classless team" in the playoffs. Get real. All the teams in the playoffs have done their fair share of hacking and slashing etc. How about that Peverly slash to the back of Bieksa's knee? Oh I guess he deserved it. ::facepalm:: or Joe Thornton slew footing one of the Canucks in front of the net. To me it seemed like the Canucks got called for a lot of ticky-tac penalties while the opposing team got the benefit of the doubt on quite a few plays. The Bruins have also done their share of acting.

Are you seriously saying that Boston fans shouldn't dislike their opponent?

I have no problem with that. By all means.
I have a problem with those fans(pick any team) that take it too far. Boston fans in Vancouver didn't get pushed around or threatened, didn't get beer throw at during the game. You can't say the same of fans in Boston. All the homer posts I see makes it sound like the Canucks are the only unsportsmanlike team in the playoffs. Every team in the playoffs has embellished penalties, taken cheap shots after the whistle and pretty much everything that the Canucks have been accused of doing. Trash talking is part of it, most people brush it off and move on. It seems like a lot of people are still bent out of shape over bitegate. I don't think a suspension of Burrows would have appeased the Bruin fandom.
Regardless, the NHL playoffs are the best of the bunch. Tonights game should be a close one.

The Canucks have some horrific flops, but they still aren't even in the same League as Montreal for that.

I think you're wrong, and I know more Bruins fans than you do.

And I agree that opposing fans should be treated with mutual respect - talk trash, but don't resort to physicality.

True, the only Bruin fans that I know are pretty classy. I think there's always a segment of fans (from all teams) who are just plain knuckleheads....and then you have Habs fans who are completely different.... j/k

T-minus 3.5 hrs.....

I think you're right about Habs fans, ha.
Actually, I do know a couple of decently behaved Habs fans, but they are both former Bruins fans that hate Jacobs so much they switched alliances a decade ago.
