I am not a Yankee fan but did enjoy this series a great deal.

Anyway, has anyone ever read the SPORT article in which Reggie slams Thurman?
It is alluded to several times during the mini series.

I would love to read it but I cannot find it on eBay nor online.

I had that Sport issue. Reggie made his imfamous "I'm the straw who stirs the drink" quote in the article.

Catfish Hunter made a great crack at Reggie saying...when you open a Reggie Bar (Reggie had his own candy bar) it tells you how good he is.

i belive it was in "the sporting news" a newspaper type magazine very popular back in the day.
