Do any of the cameo collectors have their players' 1994 Fun Pack Scratchoff? I picked up a box of that stuff yesterday, and each card has a scratchoff game card with a team's lineup on it. As far as I know, there's one for every team (could be wrong, though). Don't have my scanner hooked up, but here's an ebay auction that has a picture: [ebay:2roeh0j7]160731236189[/ebay:2roeh0j7] I can't think of an active star from 1994 that isn't listed on at least one of these.

I don't plan on keeping these, so I will have 48 total available. Haven't finished busting the box, so I don't know what I do have, but they are all available to whoever needs them for their players.

I actually don't have that, but wouldn't mind to. I started picking up "by name" cards a couple months ago. I've got a pile of them on my desk I need to go through.

Also have another group of cameos for the list to add.

This may come as a surprise, but I've got mine.

I recently went thru a Bagwell collection that had that very card in it. But I couldnt bring myself to pick it up. After hearing about LESquads collection, I didnt want to take that final leap to picking up cards that mention Bagwells name. But if a card has his feet, then thats ok ;) Heck, if you are givin em away, I may as well add it to the collection. Lemme know if you would like my address.

LES - Im goin thru my Bagwells to see if Sandberg is mentioned on any of them. I'm only thru 95 thus far, and saw Sandberg listed on the 94 OPeeChee All Star redemption card. Does that mean you have to get each players card in that set for your cameo collection?

Thanks for doing that. I actually picked up a set of those a couple weeks ago. :)

The 1991 Sports Heroes Postercards came with a checklist in each pack. The 1983 Fleer Stickers had team logo stickers with team checklists on the back. The 1988 Nestle Dream Team set had a checklist in the packs and the 2002 MLB Showdown All-Star set had an All-Star checklist plus a team checklist to show which Showdown issues each player was in.

PM me your address and it's yours. Same with anyone who needs them.

Here's what I have, and players I think have some collectors here (there are 9 players on each):

4 x Twins (Puckett, Winfield, Knoblauch)
5 x Giants (Bonds, Robby Thompson, McGee, Matt Williams)
1 x Red Sox (Dawson)
2 x Reds (Larkin, Reggie Sanders)
1 x Braves (Justice, McGriff, Maddux)
4 x Dodgers (Butler, Piazza, Karros, Hershiser)
3 x Indians (Lofton, Ramirez, Baerga, Belle, Murray, Thome, Vizquel)
3 x Brewers (Greg Vaughn)
1 x Mets (Burnitz)
2 x Rangers (Will Clark, Gonzalez, Canseco)
3 x White Sox (Thomas, Ventura)
1 x Cubs (Sandberg, Grace, Sosa)
3 x Yankees (Boggs, Mattingly, O'Neill, Bernie Williams)
1 x Expos (Walker)
2 x Rockies (Burks, Galarraga)
3 x Tigers (Fryman, Trammell, Whitaker)
2 x Mariners (Griffey, Edgar and Tino Martinez, Buhner)
2 x Orioles (Ripken, Palmeiro)
1 x NL All Stars (Dykstra, Robby Thompson, Justice, Bonds, McGriff, Matt Williams, Piazza, Blauser, Maddux)
3 x AL All Stars (Roberto Alomar, Fryman, Thomas, Griffey, Belle, Juan Gonzalez, Ripken, Ivan Rodriguez, Randy Johnson)

Am I crazy for thinking about buying full sets just to see if my guy as any cameo cards in the set?

I would save the money and search thru comc first. I have found quite a few that way.

Hey Tai, i noticed there is trivia on the Topps Pack Wars cards. Did you get the Sandbergs from that set? Oh, and would you have anything to do with the Scene It card that arrived in my mail? Thanks :)

I hope the cameo collectors made sure to check out all the 2011 Topps base cards; the backs have the same "in the 19XX set, card number XX was some guy" that they did in 1987. Real small print on the side, so they're easy to miss:

Every now and then I pick up cheap cards at this little card/comic book/record shop in my area. The guy who runs it was telling me that every book that even so much as mentions his favorite comic book artist, he buys. I really really hope none of you guys do that with your players!

Dang! Gotta go through more cards to see if Sandberg is listed. I have three of the old Classic cards that had trivia on the back. I had no idea Pack War cards even existed.

And I'm not sure what you're talking about with the Scene It card. ;)

I've got the Danny Valencia and a couple of the parallels. I've still got a ways to go.

Edit: Oh, and I'm not crazy enough yet to get books in which he's mentioned - yet.

Looooooosiana!
If any of you eagle eyes happen to catch Darryl Kile sitting in the cameo position, I'd love a heads up. I'm not immediately aware of any.

Thanks to boardmember Carl (markakis8) for pointing out to me (and selling me the card) a new Mark Grace cameo. Pretty cool one, on the back of an autograph card, 1996 Leaf Signature Extended Autographs #57 - Karim Garcia:

Also found these on COMC, but they're pretty 3rd level.
