In light of the debate that got started in yesterday's Milb performance thread, which of these two players would you rather have on your team?

Vote!

I saw both players play last year, Brown is much bigger, more athletic and has more value in the field, plus he doesn't look like a fool on breaking pitches. I'm still a big Moose fan, but I voted for DB. I think he is the best prospect in baseball.

I am actually debating on who to choose here :x :x :x :x

To clarify, the debate was who is having the better season, which I believe that is Mous, who has 5 more homeruns, a higher avg, a .150 higher OPS, in 30 less at bats.

Actually, what really got the debate started was when I commented that Brown was the best hitting prospect still in the minors.

I didn't make reference to this season specifically.

ha, maybe what I should say is that Mike and I were debating (on the same side) that Mous was having a better season than D-brown. Even though they both have been GREAT.

3B vs RF?

Hard to compare, no?

Not really. Besides the speculation that Moose will eventually be moved to the OF, I'd like you to take these factors into consideration:

1) Which of the two has better hitting skills? Better power?
2) Which of the two has a stronger arm? Better speed?
3) Who will be more valuable to his team once he eventually gets called up?

Fair enough.

1) About even, ceiling to Dom Brown
2) Edge to Dom Brown
3) Moose without a doubt. When Moose comes up, he will be a shining star on a dead franchise.
When Dom Brown comes up, sure we card geeks will be amp'd up, but as far as the Phillies
go, he's going to be another (albeit strong) cog in the philly machine

it also sucks that neither have a MLB Auto Rookie Card

Moose kind of does. 08 BC, no?

no, he's in 2007 Draft

Moose is also in 2008 Bowman w/ Chrome as an autograph.

-Gauge.

Yes he is, and that WILL sell well, but that being said, there are those of us out there that are into the players first year mlb cards :)

DB for me all the way. Has more tools than Moose.

So did Dexter Fowler. They strike me as the same type of player although Brown has more power at this stage.
