the Penguins lost to the Canadiens 3-0 this afternoon. the Pens didn't look like they were ready to play and made a ton of defensive zone turnovers.

hopefully they can get themselves together tomorrow to beat the Oilers.

I have autos of his throughout his career and even his early autos look nothing like this. I've been bopping around ebay and have only found 1 that comes with a JSA COA that appears to me to be real. Overall, about 50/50 on his "IP" autos.

there have been a rash of MAF auto's that are clearly fake popping up with JSA COA's on eBay as well.

There are a bunch of COAs that ebay doesn't even allow on the site anymore because of the number of fakes that come from them. I thought JSA was on that list, but I guess it's not.

Oh my.... Did anyone see the Thrashers miracle comeback against the Flyers?? Thrashers go down 3-0 in the 3rd, Leino has his 1st career hat trick to make it 4-2. Thrashers beat the Flyers in Philly 5-4 in OT. I love it, especially when an Atlanta team wins in Philly.

Four hundred and ninety-five.

Some NHLers never see that many games, let alone that many consecutive games. We hope we aren't jinxing anything by writing about this, but Jay Bouwmeester, the Calgary Flames defenceman who logs mega-minutes most nights, played in his 495th consecutive game against Vancouver Saturday, tying the NHL record for consecutive games by a defenceman.


Pretty impressive record to have, imo

The Buffalo Sabres lost a legend Sunday. Former forward Rick Martin died while driving on main street in Clerence.

Martin's final appearance as a Sabre came when greeting new owner Terry Pegula on the ice next to his "French Connection" mates Rene Robert and Gilbert Perreault.

The All-Star forward was drafted by the Sabres 5th overall in 1971 and played 11 seasons in the NHL. In 685 career games, he scored 701 points.

Martin’s No. 7 was retired by the Sabres in 1995.

They just flashed it across the screen during the Caps vs. Blackhawks game. He was a major part of the French Connection.

after losing 3-0 yesterday afternoon the Pens beat the Oilers 5-1 this afternoon.

Chris Kunitz scored 2 goals and Matt Cooke scored a goal and assisted on another.
