I know how you feel, Bilko. I was getting so excited that the Wild were playing above what people expected out of them this year and were in the thick of the playoff race. Then they just fell apart and are completely out of it. Can't believe they lost 8 in a row. That really hurts.

the Penguins are facing the Lightning tonight in Tampa. the Pens need to win to maintain their lead on the 5th place Lightning. there is only 5 points separating the 2 teams.

Sidney Crosby is with the Penguins on their 2 game road trip to Tampa Bay and Sunrise. he has been cleared to participate in practice but only in no contact drills. there is still no word on when he will be able to join contact drills or return to the lineup.

Looks like Boston can clinch the NorthEast tonight with a win and pull within one point of Washington.

Not sure if anyone saw Tuesday's game against the Blackhawks, but Shawn Thornton took a skate to the forehead that required 40+ stitches. As he was skating off the ice, someone on the Chicago bench said something to him and he was about ready to go after the bench but the ref held him back. Flyers face the Thrashers for the 3rd time this month. Hopefully they get a win out of this one. :?

Thrashers continue their domination of Philly with a shutout at Philly. 7-1 against the Flyers over the past 2 seasons and 3-0 in the month of March. Wish the Thrashers could play Philly every game :lol: Hope this trend carries over to baseball.

Islanders are becoming my new favorite team. What a sweet bitch slap they put on Rangers. Love the way this Haley guy plays, he tuned up Avery really good. Konopka always makes games exciting and Gillies with his second of season tonight. Then him and Prust get 10 minutes for breathing at end of game.

I wanted the Flames to make the playoffs. As a Canuck fan we have a natural hate for the Flames but as a Canadian I wanted another Canadian team in the playoffs.
