Teemu Selanne is back for another year!

Tyler Myers is getting a new 7-year deal. TSN.ca is reporting that he'll get $38.5 million dollars over the life of the deal with a approximate cap hit of $5.5 million per season.

I am happy that this didn't drag out and turn into a Doughty situation.

Myers will also receive a $10 million signing bonus after this coming season. it's a great deal for both sides.

the Islanders have signed John Tavares to a 6 year extension.

Bucco we need a preseason thread now. Couple nice fights last night. Gmoney$ probably got fired up seeing PL3 go last night in Calgary game. Nice to see Colton Orr back last night as well. Looks like he is going with long scraggly hair look. Philly guy looked good in nets with a shutout.
