When I first saw the 40th anniversery jersey I wasn't so sure but its growing on me.

I agree, Dave. I hated the "buffalsug" the second I saw it! :lol: Buffalsug... never heard that but so fitting!

The name plate reminds me of how the Flyers have the orange jersey with the white name plate with the black lettering. I wasn't expecting to see stitching on the numbers but it is definately unique.

the LA Kings revealed their new 3rd jersey. the jersey is a throwback to the road jersey they wore during the 1970's. the jersey will make it's debut Saturday night in Vancouver to help the Canucks promote their 40th anniversary in the NHL.

I really like the simple design. it will be cool to see the Kings in these jerseys and the Canucks in these...

FansEdge.com is going to be in some trouble with Reebok for posting those pics. the official reveal of that jersey isn't until November 26. the have removed the jersey at the request of Reebok and the Ducks.

the best part of the jersey is the shoulder patch. they are using the original Mighty Ducks logo on the patch...

I like a lot of the new looks this year. Ducks, Sabers, Rangers.

Sucks that those team no longer work with MeiGray anymore. Still surprised Rangers left them this year after being first team they got in the game worn program. Really like the patch they have this year. I wonder what Steiner is going to charge for gamers. Will they tag and keep population reports and be as detailed as MeiGray. I doubt it.

If they run it anything like they did the Red Sox gamers, then not only do they not keep population reports, they flat-out lie about them. They had a table set up at a local show a few years ago with a Dustin Pedroia road gamer that they said was his only road gamer used after the All-Star break. I figured there's no way that NHL teams go through 3 sets in 80 games and MLB teams use 2 sets in 162, particularly with the bulk of the season being back-to-back nights. After asking around, I was right, and yet the Steiner rep stood by his story. At that point, I vowed to never buy game-used from them.

Conversely, I've had nothing but great experiences with MeiGray.

The Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League (WHL) both mortified and captured the imagination of the hockey world by announcing plans to wear a "denim jersey" on Friday, Nov. 12. The Saskatoon Blades will wear the jerseys this Friday night in a game against the Portland Winterhawks.

The jerseys -- designed by the team and a company called ProJoy -- were intended to be a celebration of the following weekend's Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Canadian finals at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. After the game is over, these game worn jerseys are to be auctioned off for charity. Im not sure what charity the money is going to yet though.

the Rangers officially unveiled their "Heritage Jersey" over the weekend at Rockefeller Center. the jersey is being worn to commemorate their 85th season in the NHL.

The Rangers new jerseys look okay, but nothing great, imo. I like the shoulder patch. Still wish they would have went with the Liberty jersey, even if they tweaked it a bit to give it a different look for their 85th anniversary.

As a collector/Buyer of all jerseys, this jersey doesn't scream at me to buy it. just my opinion. I would give it a "C" grade or average.

the Detroit Red Wings have signed a deal with Amway to have the companies logo on the left shoulder of the player's practice jerseys. Amway will also have ads added to the dasher boards in the Joe Louis Arena. hopefully this doesn't lead to ads on game jersey.

I really hope it doesn't as well. How long until it happens though. Pretty much all other foreign sports leagues have them all over. Unfortunately it's probably only a matter of time.

I know at least some NFL teams have started to add advertisment patches to their practice jerseys as well. Hopefully these patches don't end up on patch cards.
