Morning, JJ. You are a man of discerning tastes when it comes to your Frank Thomas cards. You have 5 great looking cards and I really like that you included a 7-11 disc among them. I'm a big fan of the old Slurpee discs and have most of the old sets, including that Pacific one.

I'll say. Do you know that he purchased 30+ tins of Ultra hockey so that he could tile his kitchen with them? Thats a man with a plan.

Hadn't thought of it like that. He is something of a national treasure isnt he?

Something like that!

James thanks! Discerning taste simply means I'm poor. No 1/1's and I stole that Ultimate auto patch.
The 7-11 disc was from PGH Dave. Never had seen one before. Canada gets left out of a lot of baseball promotions.

Seems like a good day for a Catfish/Shrimp PoBoy

I've never had one but, dang, that sounds good!
My personal favorites are good Philly cheese steak's or Limburger cheese on pumpernickel bread with butter.
Limburger is definitely an acquired taste not shared by many.

I would be happy with those options as well...

Everyday seems like a good day for poboys!

You like your catfish fried or black?

Its tough to find good catfish, and really BBQ here. Were getting more restaurants though.

That means you have to come to Philly to get one!

Just out of curiosity, what's your sammich of choice?

Tough call. Depends on the mood. Top 5, in no particular order:

Philly with grilled peppers and onions.
Reuben.
Turkey, ham, and roast beef sub w/ provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, yellow mustard, mayo, and a dash of pepper.
Turkey and muenster with cranberry sauce.
Italian sub (salami, capricola; etc).

I'm not counting hamburgers, though a good cheeseburger would probably knock the Reuben out of the top 5.

We have a new DDD like show in Canada called "you gotta eat here." They showed this Philly cheese steak restaurant in Saskatoon, opened by a guy from Philly. Pretty neat.

Definitely a 5 Guys cheeseburger. That would move into the top 3, IMHO.
