good morning - was watching house hunters last night - my city was featured. It was kind of amusing considering how crazy the housing market is here.

Anything good shown?

their budget was $650,000 - all they could afford were townhouses. They did show all my favorite eating places though, which was cool.

What the hell city has townhomes for $650K.????

ahh - welcome to my life. you can't buy a house for less than $800k around here, and that's usually around 1,000 feet for the house. It's scary that some of the townhouses are bigger.

I'm high then. Foreclosure rate in Mountain View is very low. less than 5%.

I've seen most of the spring training stadiums. I'm partial to Peoria but Marysvale is a great ballpark for being municipal.
I liked the old field in Tucson (where the Rockies used to play)

I'm pretty sure we have tickets for Thursday Cubs vs Rockies. We haven't got any other tickets as far I as know right now. We have a group of about 6 people. Some are staying with relatives, but a few of us are staying at this place. I didn't make the reservation. Looks like a 2-3 star hotel. Hope it isn't a fleabag place. I have never been to Arizona either.

Richard, I had to edit, reading is a skill, especially when I have my NEW GLASSES to see through.

Yes, I'll be in Scottsdale next Wednsday. Going to see the Cubs, Rockies, DBacks, Giants. Walking distance to most entertainment venues, even might get lucky. :lol:

My buddy here in the UP is the designated driver, he doesn't drink alcohol. Car rented for the week.

Funny - I'm going to Phoenix next Friday night - going to two games on Saturday and a game on Sunday!

MT spring training outing in AZ? I would love to meet up again this year. Had a great conversation with you in Chicago.

If I wasn't low on expendible funds I would meet up with you all at a game. If you will be here passed NEXT friday the 16th. the BBQ could be at my house!
