Lol, I sat on a frozen dam at our roommates farm outside Calgary. But I have never been rod n reel fishing.

If you goal is to come up with a fish, it's called fishing.
Taylor, that's catching, not fishing.

Meh.

I like going rod and reel fishing... I tried making a fishing rod once... it didn't work at all.

I dont think I've been fishing 5x in my life. Just dont have any interest in it, or any patience for it. Same with hunting. Much rather swing a club or a bat :)

I love going golfing... I haven't been out in quite a long time.

I enjoy it all, Dan. I was told last night from the clubhouse manager of the club I joined last year that my dues invoice will arrive within the next week or two. Golf season won't start until at least the second week in May.

Golf in the morning, fishing in the evening. I retired from playing softball 15 years ago, saw too teammates getting hurt.

Just to think you live in a state that proclaims itself "Sportman's Paradise". I'm just a bit surprised, but i really didn't get so involved in fishing until the last 15 years, more so in the last 5 years. I loved seeing the bald eagle circling us above waiting for handout last night.

Good evening guys!!

Got really mad yesterday, as the renting company for the old apartment tried to charge us $1k for "move out expenses"... Needless to say, that only unleashed Mrs. Frenchie and I's fury on them  managed to bring the fee down significantly, but it's still a hit...

I'll bet your g/k's would love to go fishing.

This photo was taken almost a month ago. It was zero degrees when we went out on that Sunday morning.

Evening fellers...

Ralph, got the cards thanks again! Thanks for the extra pic of your wong too. ;) That is one huge crappie. I used to love fishing. I haven't been in years.

Good evening all!
I live 10 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and we go fishing quite often.
I never knew there was such a thing as salt water catfish until I caught one.

That makes 2 of us. Moving from Cincinnati down to the Panhandle was an adjustment in a lot of ways. Going fishing was one of the big ones. Not only are there salt water cats, you catch eels, crabs, I even caught a shark once (small one). I also learned PDQ that all salt water fish has some serious "I will kick your ass and totally jack up your hands and cause a loss of fingers if it they get too close to my mouth" teeth. Fresh water fishing, you can grip almost every fish in the mouth. Salt water fishing, that is a seriously bad idea.

Barry, you don't need a 235 Johnson or Merc to go fishing with. The motor on my fishing boat is almost as old as you. I'm only a year older than the motor.

1956 Johnson 15 hp Sea Horse.

That's what I'll be looking for next summer.
Since I don't plan on boating out in the gulf, we can anchor it and fish to our hearts content. :)
