I've had bad luck all across the board with Chryslers.

That day I turned the corner and the tie-rod snapped... that was the start.

I would maybe consider a Cherokee from the mid-90's, but that's the extent of it for me.

I've had trouble with the '94 but everytime something went wrong it would still drive.
See, conflating Chrysler and Jeep is your mistake.

Certain new Jeeps I would NEVER drive, some I will drive until the bolts fall out.

That sounds highly unlikely. Mainly because there were FAR more VW's made than jeeps. Besides, go to mexico and you will be driven in one of you are in a taxi.

We had a Grand Cherokee Laredo that we put over 170,000 miles on.
Possibly one of the best vehicles I've ever owned and I'm a die hard Chevy guy. ;)

Alex, there are so many WWII jeeps out there and tons of 50s-2000s CJ/YJs. Jeeps rule, accept it.

I like Jeeps....solid vehicles. I see a ton of them driving around town and whatnot. Very popular around where I live. It doesn't hurt that we have a Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge dealership in town.
