The flat side of the one touch is well.......flat. Place the Flat edge on touch on the scanner, then the card on the flat bit. This piece has two prongs at the end, place the small one touch under these to give it a raise. Scan. When you crop the picture tight to the card the one touch will not be seen not the flat bit of the one touch since it is clear.

all my cases are so scratched, I always scan directly on glass before I put in the one touch.
