Morning fellas

Up early, so I can go to breakfast with some WWII and Koren Veterans as well as other Era Veterans this morning. I'm going to see if there is anything we can do for them. Myself and a few others from or UAW Local 145 Veterans Committee are going to attend. I have to admit I'm very nervous in doing this since, I'm not sure what to say to these guys.

Heading out now so I'll take to you guys later.

If I were you, I wouldn't say too much but I sure would listen alot.
These men are living history and you have an incredible opportunity.
Kudo's for all that you do with/for them.

Richard, that's nice of you to try and do something nice for the vets. My grandpa was in the Navy during WWII and two uncles went to Vietnam. All survived such ordeals but passed away in the 90s. Wish I got to know them better in that aspect but it's too late.

I can't wait to see what you picked up too... its such a focused collection that it amazes me you can pickup cards at such a pace.

I'm also still patiently awaiting one of the best maildays I've ever had in my collecting life... I will have some cool stuff to post as well.

I've kept my game face on all week, but the nerves are finally starting to set in. It's not so much about the procedure tomorrow as much as it's what if it doesn't work.
