Good morning all.

I picked up some of the best strawberry's I have ever had yesterday. Bought a 16lb flat of ripe berries, making shortcake, pie, and some freezer jam. Looks like the berries will be picking for the next few days, and then gone for the season.

Yummy Strawberries...

I just had strawberry pancakes for breakfast.. (the cook down in the cafateria spoils me!)

Good Morning men

rough night last night with my youngest puking and crapping for most of it. I slept on the couch with her on the loveseat so she would be closer to the bathroom. My wife had the same thing Sunday night when we returned from our trip. Really hoping its not planning on going through the whole house. Gonna take the girls outside in a bit so they can get some energy out.

Have a good one everyone!

thanks Dan

all us MT parents know what these types of days feel like.. been there done that more than once. I consider myself lucky though that most of the time everyone in the house gets sick and somehow my body fights it off and I remain strong through sleepless nights.

Suck man. Little people are tough; trying to figure out how we woke up at 645 and did not get out of the house until 845? WTF; lets go

Good Morning Gents!!! Out late last night deep cleaning the apartment. We are now fully in our new home with no return visits needed there :) First day to commute to work...I already miss the 2 mile drive as it is now 25 miles but that's not so bad.

Awesome!

Enjoy the drive. Do you have a parking spot yet?

Definitely don't miss that.

Of course, having a 19 year old, we have to deal with a different, but oftentimes worse, kind of "crap". :|

Good morning gents & gals

Strawberries...one of my favorite desserts is strawberry Jell-O filled with real strawberries..placed on layers of cream and glazed pretzels. Best to finish it wholly on the first day b/c pretzels will start to soften afterwards. Ideal for a family picnic.

Jesse - We have an off site parking lot that I had been using. We have a garage with limited parking but it costs 100 per month as it doesn't belong to our business. There is also street parking which fills up by 7am so since I start at 11am I am screwed haha. There is a shuttle that takes us from the off site lot to the building though so its not bad at all.

George - No kidding! I have a co worker that is our graveyard supervisor. He works "normal" hours on Tuesdays since that is when our management meetings are so we plan on taking turns car pooling those days which will be pretty nice :)

Also...the MIL gave Jen and I some funds to spend on non house stuff as we have been spending a lot there. I chose to match those funds and go to the LCS...picked up two boxes of Tier 1 and did pretty good ;) No bat barrel but definitely a nice card I will take a pic of a bit later (scanner is still packed away). Also got a few singles via trade there as well and will need some help on values. I'll share those a little later today.

Morning kids I'm off to mail out something ;) I need to update info for members as well.

Plus I know you guys are a great group and I "FAILED", to mention that my mother has been in the hospital since last Wednesday but will be moved to a extended care facility until maybe Saturday. It is not a reason to be concerned, she had knee replacement surgery and the 73 year old Matriarch of this family is doing better then all of us expected.

I told her I could get her from the hospital and then stay with her in the day and my youngest would, hang with her after her softball, plus my sister said she would come over after work around 5.......but the stubborn woman said no you kids need to not fuss over me and stay at your jobs....... I told her my work allows me up to 4 weeks paid leave and then 12 weeks unpaid leave for FMLA act. I would love to spend 4 weeks ( I'm rolling my eyes in good fun) with her to help out. So next week sometime my kid is going to move ion with her.........that is if she does not get a job in the mean time, looks like she has a line on one for the summer.

OK off to the stores and need to get this out before work

My youngest will get to spend quality time with G-Ma for the next 3 weeks:p.......what softened the blow for her, (I'm kidding of course) was she is getting paid good money to care for your frail old girl.

Okay, here's my latest foursome. Made it past 40% complete. Jose Bautista, R.A. Dickey (actually, it's Pelfrey...another Topps error-on-purpose), Barry Larkin and Zack Greinke.

Things are definitely starting to slow down...but that's to be expected.

Richard...good to hear your mother doing just fine in her recovery!
