Parents want me to pick a graduation present...

Any ideas?

I don't really know what I want, but I am thinking something baseball related...

Something that every college student needs....cash in the bank.

Thanks for the Campy compliments, guys!

Good golly...I just moved my old TV stand (of 18 years) out of the house and saw about a hundred dead pill bugs...dang, I must have forgotten to toss in a cedar block or two there. Fekkin spiders...always finding solace somewhere else.

Dave, I made another short list; I am now 4/4......this one is an 11 in NH.

You, sir, are on a roll. Congrats!
One question, would the cost of living in that area make an 11 worth it? I'm not sure what the COLA offset is for NH.
Also, would you be working out of Pease AFB or a GSU affiliated with Pease?

11 is the standard entry for an archaeologist.......it might hurt the ego (lol) but the job would be low stress. COLA is Boston rate; higher than Edwards. The position is with the Forest Service in the White Mnts (Camden NH).

Would the job require the same type of "digging" that you're currently involved with or be completely different? Low stress sometimes means low interest/boredom.

The NH job would be a change of pace, not sure good/bad. However, it would be a foot in the door job that I could do for a few years.

So much for making dinner tonight, ordered a pizza and only left 2 slices left. At least it was good!

Once you're in, transfering is always a possibility. Once you network a bit and get your name known, offers come your way. I've been offered a position at the Defense Finance & Accounting Service center.................in Caribou, Maine. Thanks for the opportunity was my response.
