Alex, how goes it!?!

Not too shabby at all...I get an awesome ALMOST 5 day weekend  I have this weekend off, work my normal shift on Monday and then have my regular Tuesday/Wednseday off. I could have taken Monday off too but its double time and a half so I will DEFINITELY be working that to go towards the wedding fund...July 17th is creeping up on us WAY too fast  If I remember correctly you are doing atleast a back nine this weekend? I dusted and polished the Nike Pro Combo iron set I got last year (a freebie thanks to the best Starbucks customer in the world ;) ) and have plans to hit 2 large buckets of balls tomorrow morning

Good morning gents. I hope everyone's day is off to a great start.

A lot of great pick ups in the thread this morning. Congrats to everyone!

I had a 16 card mailday of Pete yesterday. I am getting close to having my entire Pete collection scanned and everything. I keep an Excel Spreadhseet of all of the cards that Pete has that are recognized by Beckett. Yesterday I added in 07 Sportkings, 08 Donruss Sports Legends, 08 Donruss Threads, 08 Razor Cut Sig, 08 Razor Cut Sig Encore, and 08 TriStar Signa Cuts. From 1963-2006 Pete had a total of 656 cards. From 07-08 I've already added 176 more and still have 08 Contenders and 08 Prime Cuts to go. Damn DLP!

After I get my Master List updated with the new stuff, I will go through and add the cards that I have that were not listed by Beckett. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will finally have everything scanned and the list fully updated. I hope I didn't bore you all too much.

Put off mowing the lawn yesterday, which means I have to do it this afternoon.

Looking forward to Twins/Brewers this weekend. The most underrated interleague rivalry there is. For the obvious reasons that it's an old rivalry that only gets a breath of life during interleague.

And watching Sportscenter now, I JUST found out that Tony Gwynn Jr. was acquired by the Padres last night. Off to find out how.

Not too shabby at all...I get an awesome ALMOST 5 day weekend  I have this weekend off, work my normal shift on Monday and then have my regular Tuesday/Wednesday off. We are scheduled for 36 holes with some cash on the line, smells like baseball card money (hopefully coming my way).

Hope the weather turns good for you, but I guess that is what you get in Seattle. 17 July huh, well I will keep you in mind, it should be easy....4 days after the big 35 for me.

Nice cards, boys!! Keep 'em coming. 8-) I'll be sending PMs to folks trying to drum up interest in the next Ult Sig break. Stay tuned.

Everyone travelling - be safe. Drive (and fish) smart. Have an awesome holiday weekend!

George - Same to you!!! Hope the skins payout nicely for you!!! Being born and raised in Seattle you learn to like/put up with the rain, but our forcast is looking pretty solid

Dan - I've got an Odyssey putter...has some great weight and balance to it. As for the driver and woods, that is next on my list. I started year before last and wanted to get used to the irons first. I feel like I'm ready to start the driver and woods this year...what would you recommend that would not kill the wallet?

Taylor Made Driver
Ping Zing Black dot 2-6 iron (distance and control reasons).
Tommy Armour 7-P to include a 4wedge (loft and spin are incredible on the Armours).
Titleist putter, copper head and about 25 years old (so smooth)
**I also carry a left handed putter that was my best friends dads club. He passed away some years back, after my folks past they treated me like a son. Each round I play I putt at least once with it and I have never had a 3 putt with it!

I have Big Bertha Driver and Woods. My Irons and Putter are TaylorMade. I want to pick up the Big Bertha Diablo Driver and Woods this year.

I have learned though, no matter how good the clubs are, my golf game still sucks.

I know there are not a lot of hockey fans here but I cannot get over this incredible goal Evgeni Malkin scored last night to record his 1st career playoff hat trick...

The best is, his teammate says he told them what he was going to do before the face-off
