I've found one item and pulled one from my own collection. Now I just need to find a few more things to add to it.
Is everyone trying to find a single card if they can, or do some people have no choice but to do multiples?

Both, I think with some of the players involved couple with some vague wish lists people have no choice but to get 2-3 cards.

Joe - Those are some pretty awesome cards....even better that they came from Crystal  You DEFINITELY have a winner there!!! Can't wait to see what the pops got you to man ;)

Dave(pgh) - WooHoo!!! Glad you made it into the set...the more the marrier. I also just received the 2006 A&G Felix card in the mail yesterday...that will be a PERFECT card for the first IP I will try to get next year

Charlie and George - I am having to do 2 cards as well to meet the $50...either the cards my giftee needs are below the price or WAY over the price, either way I think he/she will be happy ;)

Dave(wide) - "I said good day!!!" Morning Dave :D What was on the breakfast menu this morning? I read through yesterdays MT and saw it was some tasty pancakes and sausage...one with syrup and the other without...

Morning guys. I'm like trev this morning. Going to be in and out, but might be back later. Did want to mention that you know it's going to be a good day when the lady wakes up, early, on a work day, and in a GREAT mood. :D

Morning all,

Being a West Coaster, I always seem to check in late! Heck, it's only 7:30 here and you guys are on page 5!

Anyway, another odd day at work ahead. Had my first strange comment by a student yesterday:

Confused-looking student: "What if I don't do my homework?"
Me: "You will fail the course."
C-L Student: "The whole thing?"
Me: "Pretty much."
::facepalm::

I have to keep a notebook this semester of this stuff.

Thanks guys. I'm very happy with the cards. :D

Darren- Yes, Crystal is my wife. She is my much, much, MUCH better half. She always reminds me of that too.

Dan- I don't know about me being good people. I think good things happen to guys who have an awesome wife.

Dave- Thanks bud. I told him it would be pretty hard to top the Logoman, but he says he thinks he did. When it gets here, we shall see.

Charlie- That makes 2 of us. I thought these were awesome, but she said she picked up some "better" stuff too. For SS, I am going to do multiple cards no matter what. Even if I pick up one card that meets the criteria, I still plan on sending at least 3-5.

Alex- Thanks brother. She is definitely amazing. I still can't figure out how I deserve her.

George- I know I intentionally tried to be vague on my SS wantlist. I didn't want to make it difficult on my Santa by asking for specific type cards. Not that there's anything wrong with that at all. I was just trying to be as easy to deal with as possible. :D

Scott- Yeah, the winter of 77/78 was a tough one huh?

Rob- In case I don't see you tomorrow, Happy Birthday and have a great time at the Sox game!

Alex- hello sir! I'm having a mental block of what movie line you are referencing there, but it's familiar... ::facepalm::

Charlie- I'm going to post the progress so far in a bit. I am missing only one pic and one is going to be replaced soon.

Bye George! Have a good day, teach! ;)

Joe- Nice cards, man! You have a card that is going to replace the logoman as the centerpiece?! :o Wow must be a hell of a card. Can't wait to see it.

I think it is from the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie. Gene Wilder dismissing Charlie and Grandpa Joe at the end of the movie.

George - Peace out like a trout recovering from a drout (where's Indy when you need him  ). Have a great rest of your day man...hope to see you win a certain something soon ;)

Joe - I think it takes a great guy to have a great wife...regardless if you can't see why you fit the criteria atleast the important person knows you do (Crystal ;) ).

Andrew - ...good luck with the "tough" round you seem to have. There own schooling destiny lies in their own hands...how are the surgerys and doctor visits going for you??

Art - Sounds like a great way to wake up...hope it continues throughout the rest of your day  How is the lady doing these days??

Scott and Dave(wide) - Just saw the "updated" MT card versions... :o   . I must say my favorite one is Barry's (tramers) because the yellow REALLY stands out very well. 8-) GREAT JOB DAVE!!! 8-)

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner  That...and many episodes of "That 70's Show" have many references to that same line said by Fez

It's early this semester, but I can pretty much count on at least two or three weird comments a week from my students. Have a doctor appt today. Next surgery will hopefully be within a couple weeks. Depends on the insurance authorizations coming through. How are things in Seattle?

Well, here is to best of luck both school and health wise...CHEERS!!! Seriously though...hope all remains smooth and well with the doctors and surgery ;) Things in Seattle are great...Jen just had a phone interview at a Vet place. She did that yesterday and now they scheduled an inperson interview that will be later today. If all goes well she will get the job and her first foot into her career  Other than that...the summer heat is gone, the famous Seattle rain has already made an appearance and I am now counting down the days until I can hit the ski slopes again. Any recent Disneyland trips?? After hitting up Disneyworld I would love to check out Disneyland...plus that would give us a reason to drive down there :)

Good luck to Jen on the interview! We haven't been to Disneyland since my birthday last month, but hope to go soon. Sometimes we will just go for a couple hours in the evening. Let me know if you come down this area; would be great to see a MTer in person. You and Chris could talk about Metallica! :D
