morning boys.

the Penguins beat the Bruins 3-0 last night and moved back into 1st place in their division. it was Fleury's first shutout of the season.

Charlie the player from the Ducks that hit Seabrook on Tuesday was suspended for 8 games. which was very well deserved. the two of them are friends and former teammates.

Art nice progress on the Cave. I really like that you built your display case into the wall. that is going to look amazing with all your sweet Bay and Piazza's in it.

Morning Dave. Actually the "display case" is just a small shelf that was already there. I figure on putting my desk right underneath it, and probably use it as a transfer station for incoming and outgoing cards, lol.

I'd really like to find one of those old library index card holders. The ones where you look up where to find all the books in the library. Would make an excellent card storage unit.

Chris (my own little librarian) has wanted some of those for years; they can be tough to find (vintage ones) and somewhat pricey. I would bet that some company somewhere must make those still.

Well top o' the morning! Beautiful, sunny morning here. Sipping my most excellent coffee and catching up on the thread.

Had my first coaching experience last night with Jared's 4 and under T-ball team. That was a handful of fun. Actually it went very well and I think I'll enjoy it.

Paul- Congrats on the Decade! $4 under your budget... gotta love it. Just looking through your stash you got in. Very nice and congrats on this and the lot to come.

Did you just pick that up? Nice card but I find it hard to believe that a GU bat card goes for $5k+.. and that Little_I has had 2 of them..

There are some set collectors that need that card for the APOH set, and even if I pulled one, I would have to think hard about keeping it even though it would make my set mostly complete..(I don't have the Babe Ruth SP/50)..

Little_Italian is listed as from my home state.. yet Ive never seen the guy setup at any of the shows. I would love to see the cards this guy has.. his Ebay store is a museum of high dollar cards.

guess I have a pretty good handle on the market eh Dave? actually I was watching it go out had a snipe in for 30 and the thing started bumping into the mid 20's and I started to worry my snipe wasn't going to be enough.. thank god it was because I really really wanted this card!

Tball can be a blast.. my brother did that with my nephew last year and is doing instructional league this year. If only I had a son.. I have 3 girls and I don't see them being the softball types.

T-ball is the literal definition of insanity, but thankfully there were some really helpful parents there to keep some of the boys occupied while the others were practicing. I'll also be coaching my older son's baseball team for 6 and under, looking forward to that too. But I have 13 on the team :shock: Definitely need assistant coaches for that.

2005 Ultimate Signatures numbers /33 is the next I want along with the Supremecy /25.. Ive only seen 1 copy of each in 3 years.. so of course with my lack of budget no chance of me winning.

I just figured out that Im at 65% owned now with the cards I added yesterday.. sad part is I have to go through my whole collection checklist again as I think I have some things that are not checked off and maybe even vice versa.. I'll let my OCD take over while Im out of work and go through it all again to verify.
