So they put me on this plane,one I have to duck in and knees on the seat ahead of me,start to taxi and I guess erin is too lovely, the pilot was premature in our taxi and we have to sit here for the next 20 minutes.

Ask the person next to you if they are familiar with the fine family of products that Amway produces. (Yes, a somewhat dated reference, but old guys will get it)

True story (both of them)
I used to travel a LOT in late 90's - mid 00s. Basically, I was on a plane once a week out, and once a week coming home for about 4+ years. With all that travel, you experience a lot of what George is going through. So, I had a couple of great practical jokes, if for anything, meant to make me laugh.

1) For about 6 months, I carried around an issue of Playboy in an envelope in my laptop bag, always waiting for the right opportunity to be stuck in a middle seat with older people around me. Well, flying home from Pittsburgh one time, I was granted my wish, as I had a guy at LEAST 80 in the window seat and a young lady to my left on the aisle. We were waiting for takeoff, and I very innocently pulled out the magazine, layed it across my lap and waited to see who would react first. Neither really looked over until I started flipping the pages. The old man looked at me, looked at the mag, looked at me again and said something to the affect of "do you really think that is necessary with a lady present" loud enough for her to hear. Without missing a BEAT, she said to both of us "im waiting for him to get to the centerfold, that's my favorite" Needless to say, i busted out laughing, and let them know I was just kidding around and put it away. (the magazine Chas) It wa a fun flight after that, as the young lady was very entertaining and engaging.

2) Stuck at the gate, i took my cell phone out and proceded to call my then g/f to let her know I was going to be delayed, and might miss my connection at Heathrow. I noticed there were a couple of "leaners" near me, listening in on the convo (from sheer boredom im sure) so i gave them a show, going into a VERY filthy line of chatter (it would make Tiger proud) filled with stuff you only DREAM of saying to like a **** star.....and as the people around me started to really eavesdrop, i dropped this line "ok, love you too mom, put dad on the phone" May have been the best laugh after looks of SHOCK :shock: :shock: :shock: that I have ever recieved

I fell off the wagon last night and made my first purchase in 6 days. I bought 2 more SP's for my 2008-09 OPC Winter Classic set. I am down to only needing 3 more to complete the set and 1 is on eBay right now.

got some decent rest last nite after getting home from the hospital. slept the whole night with 3 breaks in between for bathroom or adjusting my neck position. Not feeling too bad this morning.. a bit stiff and achy due to the colder temp outside probably.
