Dave invited me to join the MT and I was warmly accepted by the crew. I've never seen you be rude to outside posters before I was here and cruised the thread. It's usually a hi, whats up, thanks for posting, come back!
Hell, about a month after I joined the Beckett boards, GC invited me to join the facebook group...couldnt have found a nicer dude.

It's just more obvious that some people in the MT interact a lot more. I interact in waves... thing is -- no one is going to flat out get ignored here.
Just like any other situation where anyone is welcome to be - that person doesn't need to go in and act like it's "their" scene. I think that's Shep's problem. No need for it, though. It's totally water under the bridge.

I'd say we're more like that guys that go to the public pool and just chill at one end floating around instead of actually swimming.

Alex, painting is all done. On to the stripping of the wood trim that they painted over when they painted the walls. ::facepalm:: About half done with that, but it sure is a bit more time consuming than I figured. It's looking good though. Maybe I can give you alittle teaser here shortly.

I want to say thank you to Ant. He sent me a 2009 Bowman Chrome Adam Dunn refractor. It is very much appreciated. Thank you Ant!

I saw Tony picked up another nice Adam Dunn 1/1. I'm going to have to try and work some kind of deal with him for his Dunn stuff one day. His Dunn collection is nicer than mine and he doesn't neccessarily collect him. ::facepalm:: :lol:

If this is like high school, what does that say about the rest of the board? The MT is very welcoming and any time a new person posts, they are always welcomed and encouraged to come back. I may not always personally respond to everyone, but I read all of the posts and try to keep up on what's going on with everybody. There just seems to be a lot of people who like to stir pots.

I'm not taking those comments personally, but it's a shame that there are some members on here that feel that way about the MT. Especially if they haven't even attempted to post in here (edit: at great length). I don't remember seeing signs that's its a private club or that you have to meet certain requirements. It's a dang public board. Come in and say hi, but come back tomorrow and say hi, and then come back the next day and say hi again. The point is, that way we get to know you, and then you get to know everyone who's already been here and knows each other. And if you are decent person, not out for attention, but can hold a conversation and show some interest in other people and their concerns/issues, you're golden.

I just don't get it. Seems pretty simple to me.

I'm the same way Joe. I don't ignore anyone (in the MT, not even Miggy), but sometimes you just have to walk past some of the yohoo's out there. I think Shep posted once or twice, but since he wasn't instantly popular, and top dog, I guess he didn't feel wlecome. Oh well, to each his own I guess.
