nice stuff as usual George!
Saturday I was talkiing to my cousin about a project he planned for his youngest brothers high school graduation. my youngest cousins name is Michael but everyone calls him Mitchell from the Angels in the Outfield movie they used to watch babitually growing up. It has taken to the point where even my aunt calls him Mitchell which makes it even funnier. Well my oldest cousin decided to try and have a jersey done for him using California angels authentic like the movie.. it was a thought which sounded good but trying to find the jersey was proving to be a huge issue. I had contacted Andrew and Halonut to see if they could possibly give me some leads on vintage jerseys. Andrew provided some links to start which didn't have exactly what my cousin was looking for so I kept digging based off of those and found something of interest. I sent my cousin the link yesterday. He called me today to tell me deal is done.. that the guy is making the jersey for him for the same price listed on the website custom with Mitchell across the back and is actually going to make sure he makes the jersey totally authentic to the movie with all the correct patches.. very cool IMO! I can't wait to see my cousins face when he gets this jersey as his gift.
my cousin is a Jim Edmonds collector so I think Im going to try to pick up something nice for him if I can.. I showed him George's bucket and he about wet himself!
