not anytime soon, but it badly needs to be renewed so when I want to go I can.. maybe a BC trip around Xmas time.

I got one a couple years ago but still haven't used it.

ref all the running , I was a lifeguard at a 50 meter pool my goal was 50 meters under water one breath not diving in . My best was 45 ,record was 60 meters . It was always nice to have a key to an indoor heated pool

Thanks guys! I'm very happy with the recent wins, pretty luck to come across a guy unloading his 90s Yankee inserts. He had a bunch of Yankees 90s inserts numbered to 99 or less.

George, these were the two cards for which I had kept my fingers crossed. I lost out on the 1997 Legacy. I had 0/3 from that year so I didn't feel as bad.

I did XC and did the 2 mile in track, came with in a few seconds of breaking 11 minutes but never actually dipped under. I wish I could keep up with competitive running now but my knees are terrible. I have flat feet and wore shoes without stability/motion control for years before I started wearing proper footwear.

I was going through some old cards and came across a SI Kids Card of Khalid Khannouchi which I didn't know I had. I had picked up the 9 card sheet for the Rivera) It is his first and only card, giving me a complete collection!

Nice, didn't know they made a Strasburg. I like the design this year, simple with white border kinda reminds me of the Panini sticker from the early 90s.

Maybe Suzy Hamilton or Marla Runyan? Just checked for Hicham El Guerrouj, but he doesn't have a card.

It's good that you can keep up! Some people find it hard to give it up at any age. My coach was in his late 50s and still a competitive runner. For me, I don't have the motivation to train anymore. I am in the prime running age now, but I can barely break 7 minutes/mile. I will go for a jog every now and then but I hate doing laps or interval training. One of my goals is to complete the NYC Marathon, I will try to do that before I am 30.

I don't know about 5k boxes. Medium flat rate boxes hold about 3800 cards.

They are also cheaper if you print them out online versus going to the PO. I can't remember how many cards they hold though. I received probably 10 flat rate boxes of commons this past Spring.

Some exciting job news for me finally. Basically, I'm not happy with my current school district at all and have been trying to move back closer to home to be near my family. I interviewed with my former home school district back in June and thought that it went really well but I haven't heard back from them since. Tonight, I get an e-mail saying that they just posted a middle school math/science position. I'm perfectly qualified for it and am going to send them an e-mail to remind them of my previous interview and that I am still interested in the position. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Joe - I know I'm almost always the one who ***** in the pool, but...only the "Rookie & Rising Star" cards in TTT will be on-card autos. All of the vets/HOFers will be big, shiny, silver band-aids as always. :lol:

Dunn does have a few cards in it though, including one of the XXIV booklet cards.
