That's whats irking me. We only keep the heat at 68. Would be lower if it was just me in the house.
And our gas bill was significantly less than the electric.

They're supposed to read the meter every month, but I have a feeling they estimated because of the snow.

There is a trade off Charlie. In the summer months (which is about 6-7 months here) when its 100-110 outside our AC bill climbs to about $250/mo.

Yikes! I think ours topped out at about $185 in August.

I should clarify. My folks bill is usually that amount, our is about $150-200. Last month and most winter months we only pay about $100
